Accurate Target Gear was born from a deep passion for the shooting sports and a commitment to supporting the Australian shooting community. Founded by John Nicholas, a dedicated SSAA QLD member with over ten years of active involvement in competitive shooting as a competitor, RO and match director. Accurate Target Gear represents the perfect blend of hands-on experience and manufacturing excellence.

A Shooter's Perspective

John's journey in the shooting sports has taken him from local ranges across Queensland to national and international competitions. John is an active competitor in PRS, NRL22 and a finisher in the 2026 Mammoth Sniper Challenge in the USA. This extensive experience competing at all levels has given him unique insights into what shooters truly need from their targets and equipment. Every product we create is informed by real-world use and the demands of serious shooters.
